By failing to learn from the past, the international community risks repeating the same mistakes.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the Israeli side to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-33 as an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people. The Head of State told this after the negotiations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on an official visit to Ukraine.
Raphael Lemkin, the distinguished lawyer who coined the term “genocide” and is considered the father of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide adopted by the United Nations on December 9, 1948 (the U.N.
