We as a society have an accountability and responsibility to eradicate crime/abuse/and any kind of harm against children. We wish to create a international dialog for bringing a good life to children and to preserve their happiness, to strengthen their trust in us, and to rise up to their hope. Read more

Welcome to healing the wounds in Ukraine

The conflict in Ukraine is leaving deep physical and psychological scars in society and perhaps especially among our children. While the physical damage inflicted is plain to see, the psychological trauma is often hidden and forgotten. And unfortunately our children are wounded hard. Our children are also the future of the world. Yet, this massive trauma has long-lasting effects going beyond individual reactions and affecting societal dynamics of affected groups.

To break the cycle of violence and build a peaceful future for Ukraine, the worlds leader, together with our network, provides psychological and social support to children. So far, 25 summer camps with a focus on peace education have helped over 3,000 children from across Ukraine cope better with their emotions when they go back home and empower them to become active agents of peace. Overcoming societal trauma from the exposure of war is a crucial step towards longer-term peacebuilding.

Human rights don’t exist in a warzone. The conflict in Ukraine’s Donbas region is now in its sixth year. Ukrainian civil society, human rights activists and international organisations such as the UN and OSCE are trying to solve and stabilise the situation. But despite the fact there is only one conflict, there are different views on how to resolve it. There are also different views regarding the territories controlled by illegal armed groups under the guise of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic”.

In our view, the key point of contention between human rights defenders and peacebuilders at the UN and OSCE has to do with the shift in emphasis from external aggression to internal conflict. While rights defenders are recording violations of sovereignty and international law, the UN and OSCE are trying to “build peace”.

Responsibility lies with world leaders. Yes, just you Putin, Merkel, Trump and the other of the world's leaders. It is my childs future and the future of your child and grandchild.  What future will you give them ? Is your gift hate and aggression among the future generation you are going to give them ? Or do you have the courage to meet us to discuss peace and a good future for our children?  You are welcome.
