National Day of Holodomor Commemoration falls on the fourth Saturday of November - this year, Saturday, Nov. 28. 

But we start the Holodomor Awareness Week with the webinar “Learning History Lessons for Better Future” on 26 November 2020 from 14:30 to 17:30 (Central European Time).

First and foremost, we want to share a lot of information about Holodomor. See more here about the agenda. We are also very pleased that the journalist and filmmaker, author and producer of the film Mr. Jones, Andrea Chalupa, will talk about the film, and a trailer of the film will also be part of our webinar. We have more about Holodomor on the agenda and why it must be recognized internationally as genocide.

The movie Mr. Jones is an A-list Hollywood movie based on the life of Gareth Jones, a journalist who tried to tell the truth about what was happening in Ukraine in 1932-1933.
