General Eirik Kristoffersen, Chief of Defence of Norway
We are honoured to welcome Chief of Defence of Norway, as a speaker at the Youth Peace Conference
With extensive experience from national and international military operations and leadership, General Kristoffersen brings a unique perspective on the challenges facing peace, security and democratic societies in Europe.
At the conference, he will share his reflections on peace, freedom and democracy, and on the importance of resilience, responsibility and cooperation in protecting the values on which our societies are built.
For young people growing up in a changing and increasingly uncertain Europe, understanding the relationship between peace and security, democracy and freedom is more important than ever.
General Kristoffersen’s contribution will be an opportunity for the youth to hear directly from Norway’s highest-ranking military leader and to engage with questions about how we can protect peace and freedom today – and what responsibility the next generation will have in shaping the future of Europe.
